Wonderful

The staff was very friendly, the room had a beautiful view of the sea and the Bridge of the Americas and it was very cozy and comfortable.

The distribution of the lights in the room was not ideal, but it had enough lighting. The switches were also hard to reach.

It was comfortable for a short (one night) stay. There is a TGI in the building as well as a good restaurant.

Very Good

It is a dated hotel but very clean and great staff. The best thing about it is that you have a balcony looking straight at the Panama Canal with a beautiful little marina and mountains all around. The view is fantastic. There is a TGIF in the lobby and there is also the canal house about 200 yards away which is an excellent restaurant. The surrounding neighborhood ain't great.

Very Good

Staff is really pleasant all around, from front desk personnel to the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff and beyond. An overall good experience. I recommend having a hotel shuttle to provide ease of access to the city and the airport. The hotel is a little out of the way and can be difficult to get a cab, especially in the later part of the day. As Panamanian living abroad, I am proud of the staff at this location. Keep up your attitude as you're the face of the country for our visitors.

Thr ice machine on the 3rd floor didn't work. Had to go downstairs every time we needed ice. I also didn't like the fact that booking.com implies that breakfast is included and it's actually not. While this has nothing to do with the hotel directly but rather the third party, and the cost of breakfast is reasonable, false information is not appreciated. I will never use that site again.

Comfortable place for a night, but certainly not 5 star at all

Good location near the canal, The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean food at Fridays was very good .

Very outdated with alot of things needing repair the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and the air con dripped water , very poor service at Fridays a good location if you want to be near the canal , only one other restaurant nearby though

Canal ships, birds pool, comfy beds

We love this hotel. Excellent location and pool area, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. The yacht club and the pub are down the street. The surrounding trees host many bird species, I even saw a flock of toucans! Love watching the ships from the balcony or the pool area.

The room floors could use a scrubbing, especially the balconies. TGIF is attached which I don’t like but maybe other people do.

Room view, but had requested top floor only was given 2 ND. of 4 floors

Room maintenance was a little lacking.

Amazing view of the canal.

Lovely room, great view of the canal and passing ships. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Pool area well thought out and clean.

Coffee making facilities could have been better. Breakfast could have offered a few more options.

Quiet pleasant place to stay

We had a lovely view of the canal. The room was comfortable and it was good value for money. Staff were friendly and overall it was an excellent place to stay.

While it was a lovely area, quiet, lots of trees and birds and of course the canal, there are limited tourist attractions within walking distance. That aside I would still strongly recommend this place unless you wanted more access to downtown or the old city.

the view of the canal entrance was great from the room. Easy taxi drive to old town. easy walk to the Biomuseo and causeway. Staff was friendly and helpful

This was our third stay and we would happily return.

We were able to check in our room in the morning at no extra cost. Check in was quick and efficient.

The pool was very hot and there weren't enough chairs in the shade.

Clean room and comfortable . Very nice coffeeshop in the hotel and swimming pool area looked nice

I was in the not yet renovated part where tv and WiFi did not work so well. It was a bit old. Location is a bit off .. you will always need a taxi

Good value for money, but the room temperatures can be too cold.

Because I was here at the hotel for a conference, I didn't really have a lot of time to explore the hotel's amenities or the grounds. However, there was a moment when I locked my key in my hotel room by mistake and the front desk staff was super supportive during this time to get me back into my room.

There was a lack of temperature control in the hotel. I wanted to keep my room much warmer but the thermostat didn't seem to allow me to do so, so I was cold the entire time, which made it difficult for me to be comfortable during my stay.

Excellent service and nice location

Very nice location overlooking the canal, lovely pool and excellent friendly staff which were always very helpful and responsive to all requests.

Water in the shower was a bit cold. Wifi sometimes a bit patchy.

Second recent stay at this location. For us, excellent location and away from tourism and the current public unrest and disorder in Panama. We felt safe here. Hotel just about managed to grant us a late check out for which we were pretty grateful. Staff helpful and pleasant.
